Only just got from work and have been itching to post ever since I heard the news.

Had to deliver a kitchen today, which just happened to be at the home of one of the ssn presenters. Obviously got talking about football and I proudly mentioned to be a Gunners fan.

He said you must be looking forward to the summer and pre-season, given the potential signings. He didn't give out names for obvious reasons, but he seems to have insider knowledge on four signings. One is near enough complete ( just contractual stuff to sort out ), to which I mentioned Draxler. No response, apart from a smile.

Two others are from the same premier league club. Again, I had to fish for whom they may be. Your feeder club was all he said. La Lana and Shaw perhaps?

The last is from foreign climates and is a forward. Wouldn't give out any names or country though. He was kind enough to plant two £20 notes in my hand before me and my mate left though!

Pleased you had a good day Steve and the presenter was obviously a decent bloke to give you both a score plus some great rumours to remember him by.
You make sure when you spend that 20 you've got some back up cash just in case it turns out to be dud.
Not saying it will but just in case

Id love shaw to be played on the right if he can (some players can play either wing) and schneiderlin are the ones i'd take if shaw can't then either rodriguez or lallana

Until you said a forward from foreign climate I thought the two players from the same premier league club would have been Dzeko and Richards from City. hmm interesting. No clue who it might be then.

Forward from foreign climates I'm hope for either Balotelli, Mandzukic or Diego Costa.

How on earth would a tv presenter have any inside info to tell you and not ssn. It would be a massive headline for them and take up hours of pointless chat and would come up on the bottom of the screen as " ssn understand ". Get real mate, no one's got a clue what Arsenal are up to!

Agree0 Disagree0

You never heard of confidentiality?

Yes, it would be easy for him to grab all the headlines and announce it on tv. then watch his relationship with his source go to pieces just to make himself look good. Is it worth it. not a chance, hence why he chose to say what he did.

Anyway, it doesn't really matter if the rumours are true or not, I was passing on to what I thought was a bit of gossip.

Hey Steve I enjoyed reading your rumour mate, if it comes off :-) if not you had a good day and £20

Agree0 Disagree0

At first I did not believe that this would be true but after thinking about it, I realise the presenter could be Jim White or Brian Swanson who do have reliable sources so there could be some truth to this rumour.

Agree0 Disagree0

Were Mot Interested In Lalana Were Interested In Morgan Schneiderlin

Was just thinking about the Liverpool fixture tomorrow and it got me thinking:

Do you think Luis Suarez is moving to Real Madrid (or elsewhere) in the summer? And how much do you think it depends (if at all) on Liverpool getting Champions League football?

Would love to know if the Eds heard anything.

Also, rumour is that Cavani's agent was/ is in London, does anyone think there's a chance it could be something to do with Arsenal?

Obviously Chelsea would be the safer bet since they need a striker too and would probably be willing to pay more, and Arsenal rarely does transfer business early, but since it's a World Cup year, any chance at all?

Have a brilliant weekend guys,
Peace,
Trinidad-Gooner

{Ed002's Note - You need to search the Liverpool pages for commentary on Suarez. Cavani's representatives are just fishing for interest in the player and trying to find out what options may exist if the issues he sees in Paris are unresolved. They spoke with a representative of one club, and that was not Arsenal. I would really read nothing in to it.}
