Wenger said that if he had 30mil to spend on a player he would buy Neymar. Is there any truth in this eds? {Ed029's Note - No mate.}

Hi Edd wenger did say that some time ago.

no chance in hell with it actually happening and I really don't think neymar would hack it in the premier league anyway.

£30 million would only buy one of Neymar's leg's.

Anyone else heard arsenal have just agreed a £170m 5-year-deal with puma to produce our kits?

Believable105 Unbelievable18

Yeah mate I read it on the mirror website

gooner mark

Agree0 Disagree0

Just seen that myself on a site, supposedly the biggest shirt deal in England?

Agree1 Disagree0

Respect to Ivan if true along with the other new deals

Will be interesting to see shirt designs

Got to be better than the generic Nike ones that start to look the same lazy design across their strips

Quite fancied Kappa - just to be different

Happy with Puma if it allows us to sign quality

SY4 {Ed027's Note - I don't want to be a person but I did say Arsenal were in talks with PUMA, and they were looking the most likely.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't make me run a search on that Ed!

Great news if true and the way we are talking about spending big always suggested something big was in the pipeline

SY4 {Ed027's Note - Run it, you'll find it

Agree0 Disagree0

May be Cesc will be part of the Puma deal given his Puma agreement?

SY4 {Ed027's Note - Oh stop it

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha I don't think cescs deal with puma gives them the right to transfer him in afraid! If only

Agree0 Disagree0

Why stop at cesc, falcao, aguero. unfortunately we live in a real world.

The detail is in the small print - it doesn't start until Summer 2014. It should mean however that we can make MAJOR signings ( yes plural) THIS SUMMER knowing this additional income will come on stream next summer.

Wow Ed027 has really impressed me over the past few weeks. Nice job! You've been very informative and at the same time very humble about your information. I don't think I've ever seen Ed027 be any bit disrespectful either. Keep up the good work Ed027! {Ed027's Note -Thanks

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed027 you the bomb! (once you learn that a { should be followed by a } :-)!)

yes I had a abusive math teacher at school! {Ed027's Note - lol I always forget, i'll try my best}

Philipp Hosiner, 26 goals in 26 games, Austrian Bundesliga,
Austrian henry. You heard here first

Believable28 Unbelievable57

Its 27 goals in 26 games and he has 2 goals in 2 games for austria he looks good
Ali

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah, but that's just in the austrian league.
I wonder how he does it in the Premier League

Agree1 Disagree0

Send me to Australia I used to play for Crsytal Palace in their academy I would beat that record.

Europe is where you can be judged.

Agree0 Disagree1

AUSTRIA is in europe fella

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes talking about austria not australia and if you are that good josh you would still be at crystal palace now

Agree0 Disagree0

Dude, I am from Austria! And yes hosiner is a good forward in austria, but our league is really bad and comparing him with king henry is simply ridiculous!

In Eredivise, Ligue 1, Ligo Portuguesa or Turkish league 26 in 26 would be brilliant and worth a pop. But Austrian league? Too risky. Mirallas was banging them in for fun at Olympikiaos and he's been ok.

Detroit Gooner

Agree1 Disagree0

By this knowledge we should sign Chris Wondolowski, 27 goals in 32 games in the MLS.

since QPR have been relegated I have heard that Arsenal will go for a double swoop for Loic Remy and Chris Samba

Believable23 Unbelievable126

Yes that's what we need. players who don't stand out for relegation teams.

i would rather we go for benteke.

Agree3 Disagree0

I hope so.

Agree1 Disagree0

If we were going in for two players from QPR we'd more likely go for Remy as you said and Cesar.

Agree0 Disagree0

Benteke + Villa for me as strikers

Jovetic to replace Arshavin

Agree1 Disagree0

Relegation fodder is not what we need! would have loved samba coming before he went to russia but not now he looked well off the pace and lazy since coming back.

Samba's has been awful for qpr, won't change squad at all. Remy's good but we need top signing such as jovetic, fabregas etc.
