I still can't believe we sold him for a measly 2 million pounds and kept Akpom who's scoring record in England is similar to Altidore's

Wasn't Afobe in a similar situation to akpom. It's great to see him doing well and there was no way of knowing how he would do. Would he do it in the premiership?

Well he's done it in the championship for fun where Akpom is struggling. Don't get me wrong, i'd have been miffed if we sold Akpom too because they were both smashing it for the U21's and we usually keep our promising youngsters and I was excited to see if Afobe and Akpom would ever continue their partnership at prem level. And to be fair, we sold him after a successful loan spell at MK Dons (if I'm not mistaken?) for pittance.

Yeah he was at mk and scored 10 in 22 games.think he's scored like 17 this season the boys only 22 surely a loan would have been the better thing to do

i thought at the time it was a questionable decision, it looked like his value was only going to up. and i think wolves turned down a sizable offer from nowich can't remember the figure but i think it was around 10mil
