I did want to inquire about something, perhaps the eds can shed some light.

How does everyone know Adrian Ramos is joining Dortmund?

obviously he is under contract with berlin, the transfer window has not opened, but the deal is all but done.

I was under the impression no deals can be completed until the transfer window opens.

or does that mean everything else can be agreed in principle and then signed on the dotted line once the window opens?

{Ed025's Note - pre-contact agreements are becoming more popular lakes, like it or loathe it, its here to stay mate..

Well I guess it will be an interesting summer indeed.

I have no idea how this FFP will play out its make believe game.

The FA and greg dyke now want to create feeder clubs in the lower divisions, as a fan of football I find it = to a spot in the face.

I support hibernian as a second team the reasons for why I support that club are quite simple, when I was younger I used to be a to**er fan, the one who rubbed it in, so my dad said, follow a team that has no chance to win to see how it feels on the other end, sad to say after watching countless games, I actually started supporting that club, and it was just heartache after heartache

now I can imagine the fans of league one and two who have no chance or hope in seeing their team do better but just be there stuck in some twilight zone.

while I celebrated the Scottish league cup win of 2007 like it was a world cup victory, I do not think those fans will have anything remote to that feeling to celebrate.

Was looking through the Pool sight to see the reaction to the 'supposed' Lallana news. Found this from Ed002,

{Ed002's Note - No. Bayern Munich are clear that they do not wish to sell the Martinez, although he is wanting to move on. Arsenal will test the waters with a bid if they can be assured that their first choice, Lars Bender, is not available. There may well be interest from Spain if he becomes available.}

Ted was asking about his availability on the rumours page earlier. Hope this clears it up.

hello eds
just wanted to know if anybody is interested in Salih Ucan from fenerbache. he looks like an upcoming midfield enforcer. he is two footed, agile, seems to be good in the air and at breaking up play. I think he would be a good understudy to the main DM we'll be signing hopefully because he will be costing prolly under 8 mil.

thank you

{Ed002's Note - Roma and Benfica have shown an interest in Ucan. Previous interest from Manchester United and Arsenal seems to have waned.}

Ed,

is there anything you can tell us about Arsenal and Ilkay Gundogan? hearing bits about him being out number 1 target along with Lars Bender this summer but how true are those rumours and if they are true what are the chances of us landing Gundogan? would the player be interested in the move?

Believable3 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - It looked like Gundogan would be sold last summer and there was interest from Rubin Kazan and Manchester City. However, with Goetze going a season before expected, Dortmund were always going to look to keep the player and are looking to negotiate a new deal with him and they have agreed a one year extension until 2016. Both Barcelona and Arsenal spoke with his agent but made no approach to Dortmund. Enquiries to his club have been made by Chelsea and Real Madrid, and Real Madrid until recently seemed his likely destination - but given his injury issues they are now looking elsewhere. Chelsea has also no interest in pursuing the player. It had been suggested that Manchester United would try and strike a deal for the player last summer that is not activated until this coming summer - but that always seemed unlikely to me. There is still interest from Manchester United and Arsenal but he would be high risk. I suspect that a suggested move to Bayern Munich will not happen.}

I saw yesterday that Frimpong was released by Barnsley, was he really that bad?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - yes he was jen..

It's almost beggar's belief that Arsenal fans used to compare him to Pogba. I remember once an Arsenal fan saying Pogba wasn't fit enough to lace Frimpong's boots. It's crazy how quickly a player can go from hero to zero. Especially given his young age.

Agree0 Disagree0

Frimpong was easily ahead of Pogba in his development a couple of seasons ago but his 'music career' and his weight bench have ruined him by sounds of it!

2 cruciate's have done for him. He will pop up somewhere in the future I think but he will have to get his down and work hard.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's such a shame to see Frimpong fail, as I remember when he first played, he looked as though he would make it. Unfortunately, he has suffered serious injuries and has a terrible attitude.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's a person of the highest order. I was embarassed he played for us and I'm happy to see him fail. Tosser.
Did I mention I don't like him?

Ed, what's the news on kasper schmeichel?

Believable3 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - Leicester are trying to get him to sign a new contract, he has a few other offers, but he seems to be happy to stay put for next season. I think a lot depends on Leicester's final offer, as most other offers are not ensuring him first team football. I am told he is looking for some kind of relegation clause allowing him to leave cheaply in the event of relegation, which Leicester are not so keen on. If that can be done, I would expect him to stay, in my opinion.}
