I've seen quite a lot of chat about RvP leaving in the summer.... Ed, what do you think are his chances of leaving?? And if he does leave, how much will we get for him, given his age and injury record? Thanks

Arsenal are breaking the bank to try and keep him. But he has told a few people he is going in the summer. Only a year left on his contract so you will only get 20-25 mill for him. Shame as I would love for him to stay in the Prem League but he wouldn't move to Man city for all the money in the world.

Van persie WON'T leave, it's down to Money but this is how it works:
Van persie is right now worth between £15-25m, I know it's a big range there but I'm covering the bases! Bare with me, he has 1 year left on his contract, we have no obligation to sell him, now here's the kicker, people compare it to the Nasri scenario but it's quite different, made so by age, Samor is 24(?) and losing him in this transfer window he was worth around £30m IF he had a decent contract length, when we sold for £25m (or thereabouts) we were losing £10m on value not the whole Shabang, when Rvps contract ends he will be 30, with maybe...1-2 years at the top level, max, barca and Madrid won't touch him at that age, that leaves him with the likes of city, Psg or Anzhi offering him big bucks, he'll leave for sure next year if he doesn't sign a new contract at the seasons end, but at that age he'd be worth maybe £15m, and arsenal can afford to lose that.

I'm not asking you to tell us your source, but how do you know for sure? Like is there anything you can let us know that it isn't just bulls**t to wind up the gullible people on the site.

Before the recent transfer window Ben posted that Goetze was the player we were after (he got injured) so that could of been possible. Now it's Hazard, who has been linked with us for ages but blotted his copy book by associating himself with the spuds and it would seem his agent has been quite active in linking him with a range of top clubs. Anyway lets start a list of tips.

Ben is not about bulls**t, and if you are a long time follower on this site you would know that. So don't worry about it being a Malaga 2.0 story all over again. I am not saying that it is true, just saying that Ben is usually not talking bulls**t. But remember that he didn't say that he has already signed for Arsenal.

In fact, just to join in......I heard Hazard is signing a 4 year deal on £100k a week after being impressed by our displays in the few weeks against Spuds and Milan. No announcements till the end of the season as that's how things are done at Arsenal lol
