A CB is inexplicably sold during the summer and now we have 3 CB's out injured. Hopefully, Chambers and Koscielny will return after the International break. However, Mustafi looks likely to be out for some time. With Monreal providing options at CB and LB, we really are short of experienced defenders. I recall this happenning in the past with Wenger, who clearly doesn't emphasise defensive cover, whilst often having too many forwards and technical midfield players.
It seems ages since we brought through any CB's from the youth teams and even now we only have injured Bielik that looks promising.
