Happy to report that Julian Draxler is open to signing for us next summer. Sees us as the next step in his career, especially since we've bought Oezil--we're keen as well.

Downside is that price will be a stumbling block--expect it to be in the 30m region

Downside? We have to many midfielders. This isn't manc where we offer 150k plus for 1st team players to bench half the season.

@pinky not as such, but I have a contact in Germany who's certain it will happen next year

@sessho it's possible we'll be moving some players on this summer and he's comfortable in a wide midfield position

I reckon Arsenal will sign Draxler because.

1. Draxler said "I would like to play for Arsenal"

2. Mertasacker and Ozil are telling Draxler how life is at Arsenal and he is impressed.

3. Wenger isn't afraid to spend now. Draxler is young and a fantastic player so I can see Wenger liking him.
