Metro reporting that we have made an official bid of 18 million pounds to Real Sociedad for Antoine Griezmann. How can we bid when transfer window isn't open yet?

Ed can you possibly confirm any validity in the reports of the £18 million Griezmann bid? Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - I really have no interest in discussing money. I know where the thought of a bid already being made has come from but I suspect something was lost in the translation from the original Italian. As far as I know no bid has been made but Arsenal remain one of the clubs very interested in the player.}

Can you explain how then, Ter-Stegen was officially unveiled as a Barcelona player?

Ok I get it can be processed until it opens. But can a player therefore change his mind then. Which is why I assume it seems odd teams announcing someone is signed of it's not 100 complete let's say. This seems a subject that grinds your gears ed002 lol but just wondering
