Ed are we interested in Henrik Mikhitariyan because few week back I had read somewhere that Chelsea are in for him. Thanks.

{Ed025's Note - chelsea were front runners the last i heard BH but things can change so quickly in football, if they are willing to spend upwards of £80m to land pogba then how much will they have to strengthen elsewhere?, im thinking that if vardy comes in then any other forwards will depend on giroud leaving mate..

The other day Ed we might have been signing vardy as well as Morata. Now it's just vardy. You're killing me Ed! Causing me actual pain!

{Ed025's Note - it looked like morata was the number 1 target CS but the money was an issue, i was thinking that vardy was a replacement for giroud but now it seems hes instead of morata!, i feel your pain mate but who,s to say vardy wont become the better of the 2?, xhaka and vardy is a damn good start to me mate..

Ed025, are we (Chelsea) willing spend that much on him? :-)
And if I recall correctly, Being Human, there are some issues with Mkhitaryan that made us (Chelsea) step back our interest or something. I think it's looking less likely that he'll come to us right now. Hope that helps.

{Ed025's Note - apparently you are jackson, for me its spiraling out of control mate but i suppose if you,ve got it..flaunt it..

good answer Ed025, but think another striker may well happen. hopefully we are looking to play a tad more direct and a bit like the last great team we had where we pressured more.

{Ed025's Note - i feel that if another striker were to come in then one would have to leave sagalout..that is of course if the vardy deal is completed mate..

I can't deny a Pogba or Griezmann type of player would make me happy. However, I agree that the money is crazy in football right now. Clubs are willing to pay 60 million or something for players that have proven very little (e. g. Martial, Renato Sanches) . It's all becoming madness. But it's not our money, so I'm not going to really complain about it.

It can be frustrating though to think that many people work very very hard, they work their asses off (even more than 1 job) , but they don't even make 1% of what an average professional makes at the top level. Loftus-Cheek apparently got a 65k per week deal. That's outrageous.

{Ed025's Note - im with you on that jackson its obscene if you ask me but it is what it is mate..

market value, is market value and our problem was that he wasn't prepared to meet it. Hopefully that's changed.

Hope Giroud stays personally. He improves every single season, and his vision with those flicks reminds me of our great strikers 15 years ago at times. Easily one of my favourite Arsenal players of the last few years.
