{Ed001's Note - not that I am aware of, no. I expect Walcott to be an Arsenal player for the season.}

Thats a shame, waste of wages, seems to get worse year on year. Had to many chances and we could use the money from transfer fee and wages to buy an attacker. can't see what Arsene still sees in him.

Walcott frustrates me so much when he plays.
He thinks he's better than what he is. Lacks soccer IQ.

Hope we send him out, I can see him at West Ham.

Ah, bummer Ed. I literally cringe everytime I see Theo in that 14 shirt.

I would think that the only reason we hold onto him is because no one will pay the transfer fee we're looking for as well as his wages?

Thanks again.

{Ed001's Note - Wenger likes him.

Apex Predator,

Try using the search function. Type the individual player's name and see if it was answered recently. I hadn't seen any news on Walcott hence why I asked, but I know for sure Ed answered about the three names you posted there.

Cheers.

For me he's got impact sub written allover him. His main/ only attribute is his pace. Teams just sit deep against us, we see it all the time. Walcott lacks he one on one capabilites of say Robben, who excells in that wide striker role.

If Walcott were to be subbed on with 20mins left, he may not score but you can bet well be playing football in their box for the next 20mins.

Well the experiment of playing Walcott in the main central attacking role hasn't worked and we must play him in his best position, wide right. If we could sell him and buy Mahrez, we should. I am disappointed with Walcott, Ox and Gibbs, all three look demotivated, stale and need to be moved on.

I agree with you on those few RG. I'd maybe keep the ox as I think he'll come good.

Their development has been pretty on a par with young English players though hasn't it?

Wenger said some years ago "it's cheaper to buy from abroad and the players are more commited to success/ training etc than maybe an English counterpart may be. (paraphrasing here) .

So we went from being that "look arsenal have only fielded one English guy shock horror" headline every week 5 years ago.

So the English talent hoover got switched on and,

Now after a few years of seemingly trying to nurture English talent in our ranks. We have a few English lads who are maybe on the fringes of the squad after not developing as fast.
"We have too many reserve players/ deadwood on overpaid contracts".
