Would there be any chance we'd go for Diego Costa?

You think that would be sensible? Great player on his day but wouldn't want him in our changing room. He's nearly had a fight with half our team.

I would much rather go for Douglas Costa from Bayern :)

Highly unlikely.

He isn't a team player.

More importantly, Wenger feels let down by the likes of Ozil and Sanchez He bought 2 big names for big money and neither have proven to be reliable.

Buying a big name just isn't going to happen.

Sanchez record is great. bargain he was.

And we need to keep him, ( Sanchez ) if Wenger had bought a top class striker last summer i'm sure that Sanchez and Ozil would be staying and we'd be in the champions league and had a much better run in the league.
All season you could see the frustration on Sanchez's face when the other strikers didn't close down the defenders thus making his efforts useless, then, when he gets the ball, having to practically go it alone because the other strikers, while being good, are not at his level ( or the level that we all deserve ) .
Wenger has been too loyal to his players for too long, its time to cut the serial under achievers loose.

And, if Sanchez does leave, we don't need one world class signing, because that will only put us in the same position as last year, if we want to have a better season, we will need two or three world class players.
Also, why do we always let players get to their last year of contract?
Are there no savvy businessmen at the club? what the f*** are they doing, ?
Every other club in Europe are getting 100m + for top class strikers, and we''ve let his contract run down and figures like 50m are being quoted ?
Get a grip guys, this happens far too often, tell him he signs a new contract, and we'll let him go ( at our valuation ) next summer if he's not happy, if he won't sign, he doesn't play for a year, !

Bring back David Dein. We all know Dein and Wenger were untouchable. Only way we get Dein back is if Stan sells up. That ain't happening anytime soon.

Colby, what you are complaining about is essentially what most gripes around Arsenal center on - the management. Wenger might have lots of control, but contracts are not solely his domain and the owner/ board are letting us down consistently.
