Im surprised Wenger hasn't tried to sign Ousmanne Dembele the Dortmund Player. If we are willing to put so much money on Mbappe and it seems impossible, why not try and get Ousmanne Dembele instead.

Hi all!

This makes sense as Dortmund are apparently said to be interested in giroud. giroud plus 10-15 mill on top would be a great swoop. i hope wenger uses their interest to get this guy. silky and dangerous. it would be a dream.

giroud is worth around the 25-30 mill benchmark IMO. dembele would be around 50-70 million. the only reason i didn't say too much money was that dortmund have many players in the same position as dembele while they severely lack depth at CF. If auba leaves they will be in deep rubbish with young players (though highly talented) to lead their line. If they become desperate a deal could be possible. desperation can lead to clubs to making tough decisions.

I rate Giroud above Welbeck, and he doesn't get injured so much, I would be looking to unload Welbeck and keep Giroud . !
Surley when trying to strengthen your 1st team and your squad, its the weakest player ( in any given position ) that should be sold, thereby strengthening the whole squad . ?
