Ed, is there any possibility of someone buying the club from Stan Kroenke in the near future?

I'm depressed.

{Ed001's Note - highly unlikely he would sell.}

Why people blame Kroenke is beyond me, as he has rightly supported Wenger. As far as I know he has always backed Wenger financially. With hindsight and if the right manger ad been available then Wenger should have departed after the FA Cup win, going out in a blaze of glory. I would have liked the new Watford manger Marco Silva to have taken over, as he appears to be an intelligent and very capable manager.

Have you seen how successful any of Kroenke's teams are? They're not, they're cash cows floating around mediocrity. Both he and Wenger need to go before we see any leap forward and as it stands we've got at least another two years of this nonsense.

No ambition, weak leadership and woefully inadequate business acumen. We used to have all three in abundance. Where we find ourselves is no coincidence.

They are both the problem.

Kroenke approaches his clubs with a hands-off attitude, content to delegate to everyone else even when he needs to step in. Arsenal have systemic issues - the way we approach transfers is one, the way we approach contracts is another, and the way we approach upper management is clearly another - and they lie partly at Kroenke's fault for failing to make the necessary changes. Wenger, for all his virtues, is blind to how to address his failures, and this is where the owner becomes important.

I have been accused on here of talking bollocks when making this point, so keep in mind this is all my opinion.

Anyone who thinks Kroenke is not at least a big part of the problem, answer me this:

1) When was the last time you saw him at any game? (excluding FA Cup Final) , and

2) When did he last come out and say anything about the team and the direction we're going?

He doesn't care, we are part of the Kroenke Sporting Portfolio.

If Kronke is wrong to have backed Arsene 100% without question then he isn't alone, he has a good 50%+ Arsenal fans for company.
