What defensive positions are we hoping to recruit for in Jan. Who are the main targets?

Seems like we are addressing the attack again but no point runnng a bath with the plug out.

{Ed002's Note - I cannot sensibly answer questions about timing but between now and the summer Arsenal will continue to look for a goalkeeper (having lost out on at least two of the first three considered), one CB has already arrived but they will add another and a left back.}

Left back we already have Monreal, kolasinac, Maitland-Niles unless Monreal is sold we don't need a lb if. He is moved onseggason from Fulham and Philip max would be good options but we need a right back to. Challenge Bellerin maybe Schelotto or Danilo Perreira.

Another Left back? WE currently have nacho and Kolasinac so unless Arsene is considering playing kola in CDM why would we need another LB? especially considering maitland niles seemingly does a good enough job there. Not doubting you ed's just curious.

Thanks Ed. Appreciate the reply ~ slightly surprised we aren’t looking at a CDM. That’s a concern. I assume the feeling is a Elneny or Granite is sufficient even with coq’s departure. I also assume that we looking at Auba.

Really appreciate the info and know you just deliver the news, you don’t make it.

Hi Ed002 - Yes, I found it extremely odd that we reportedly tried to get Luke Shaw included in the Sanchez deal, although Wenger has not always include Kolasinac and seems to have moved Monreal to CB more often than playing him at LB.
