Auba has given us a new dimension. his pace frightens defenders causing them to drop deeper. This creates space for the likes of ramsey, ozil and miki to do what they do best. You can see from his 80 to 90% fitness level tonight he is a world class striker. He had 2 half chances and put one away with aplom! Big shout outs for ramsey, miki, ozil and tbf iwobi for great performances tonight especially in the first half.

Not sure where this leaves Lacazette but yeah. Auba's pace is lethal he is perhaps even quicker than Henry used to be. I think what makes him is effective is that he does not actually get involved too much in build up (I think he had about 12 touches in the game but that was enough) and just focuses on making those runs in behind. I think Laczette was perhaps dropping too deep at times to get too involved with play. I would love to see them both together really to see how it could work out.

Swap iwobi for fekir and xhaka for Jorginho. Then we can start dreaming.

25 touches and his pace is a genuine asset. They recon over 50 meters he’s as fast as any footballer that’s ever been. His finishing is also sublime . And he’s also very respectable with his head.
