Ed, surprised we are releasing Vlad Dragomir. I thought everyone had high hopes for him and he's still very young. Is there more to the story? Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any story but a lot of youngsters want game time commitments and clubs are reluctant to do that. Certainly Michael Emenalo has a declared interest in him.}

Apart from Harry Kane it's difficult to think of a young player Arsenal released who went on to have a glittering career.
So many young players get tipped by fans to be the next big thing but unfortunately most just seem to fade away into lower league football at very best.
Being good enough to make a living out of football at any level is a very tough thing to do but when it comes to the premier league the standard and competion for places is huge so unless you make the most of every chance you get like Rashford and Sterling did you soon get left behind.
With so many players from all over the world both young and established desperate for a chance in the premier league the clubs can't afford to let the grass grow under their feet and miss out so young players need to deliver more quickly than ever to last at top clubs for long.

Pretty sure we want to keep him but he wanted first team action and was probably going out on loan if he stayed. He may still stay as his contract is still being renegotiated.

Ironic that emenalo wants him as it's not like he's getting anywhere near the CFC first team either.

Emenalo now work with Monaco, not CFC anymore.
