And will the club look at Benatia? I think he would be decent for us. And I've heard from someone that Arsenal are trying to tie up a loan deal for Keylor Navas. Don't know how accurate it is.

Navas is good but that would be a baffling move. Leno is proving to be a solid keeper making do with a rubbish defence in front of him. Cech is an able backup. This whole window might end up being very weird.

I envisage us brining in a keeper in the summer when Cech's contract expires, not before.

Agree, Navas would be puzzling given our needs elsewhere.

As tough as it may be to accept, it looks like Arsenal will try to sign 1-2 players but will not be spending big.

If we make it to the Champion's League then I'd expect bigger spending in the summer.
