Hi Eds,

Is there any truth in reports linking us to Leandro Trossard? Some reports are claiming we have agreed a €25m deal for him. Can't say I have ever heard of him before these reports but his stats this season in the Belgian League and Europa look impressive for a young winger.

{Ed002's Note - Leandro Trossard was certainly watched at the start of the season by an Arsenal scout who has since left the club. He is young but I know that Wolfsburg has also watched him. I am not aware of any deal being made and that seems a decent sum of money to pay for a LW when a RW is the real priority.}

Thanks Ed, is it such a big deal if they are LW? What I mean is can’t a right winger just play on the left? Or maybe I am being naive.

unless he's great with both feet playing on the opposite wing will mean a much worse end product, because he will be crossing with his weaker foot or being forced to cut inside.

Some wingers actually perform really well on the opposite side to there natural kicking foot, Ashley Young won titles with United doing it, I know he became unpopular because of his diving antics but was actually a pretty good player when he allowed that side of his game to shine.
