I really don't get why we are signing/interested in Cesar from QPR. He really isn't anything better than Fab or Szch but with much higher wages. Would much rather see a little more spent on Adler etc {Ed027's Note - Take off your tinted Arsenal glasses

Oh no, a treble winning, brazil first choice keeper is nowhere near as good as fabianski, who is 4th choice for Poland btw.

He's definitely better than both! Don't you watch any other premier league games. would love him at Arsenal

Yawn! Much better than any keeper at the club.

Szcz is wack. Believed the hype last year and it's shown this year. Can't stop anything that isn't fired straight at him from 0-5 yards, can't claim crosses very well, can't throw, can't kick accurately, poor decision-making, you name, he has digressed - imagine how unimpressive you have to be for Wenger to actually drop you.

About time we stopped being biased about how good our players are.

Sagna is a disappointment. Szcz has gone backwards. Walcott only plays for half a season - he could have been a 25-30 goal striker this year if he'd actually made an effort in half his games!

Anyway, going back to main post, Szcz is so far behind Cesar it's kind of worrying.

Although the post is deluded, he still isn't the best of keepers and we should be aiming for a lot higher.

Maybe good in younger years, but for me did not impress at qpr at all.

Szcz looks like he'll be at arsenal for the very long haul, just needs a couple more years. Getting cesar is perfect for all party's. what a great signing he would be and mentor to szcz.

Sagna has been brilliant for us (defending wise) during his arsenal career. Sadly he had a very dodgy season just gone, but, that was on the back of two broken legs. He has sadly never been able to cross or offer much attacking flair when in an attacking position. Underrated over the years massively and we should keep him for one more year.

Jenkinson is arsenals long term rb but he needs one more bedding in season. Makes perfect sense to stop letting go of the 30 pluses who can still offer so much in terms of experience.

We'd have beaten QPR by plenty at the emirates if he wasn't in goal. He is a very good keeper, and would be a great tutor for Shezza on the art of keeping.
