Going purely on assumptions and by what I read in the press.

Higuain asking price has sky rocketed.
Rooney looks like he might end up at Chelsea.
Jovetic is gone to Man City
Suarez in my opinion is highly unlikely to happen.
Ibra is 30 or beyond and I rather doubt Wenger would make a move for him.

WHAT OTHER MARQUEE STRIKERS ARE WE LEFT WITH THAT ARE OPEN TO A MOVE?

I guess we might end up with someone like Benteke or the likes, given that we do look like wanting to spend money but there are now an array of teams who have ridiculous amounts to throw and a lot of players seem happy taking the money than playing for CL clubs. As if the likes of Real, Barca and Chelsea were already not bad enough. we now have city, monaco, psg ruining it for everybody.

Soldado
Lewandowski
Damiao
El-Sharaawy
Benteke

In no particular order. All would improve us.

Like those are the only decent strikers around? i'm not for one minute saying we will sign any of the following players but it is possible that if a right offer comes in the respective clubs would sell the:

Robert Lewandowski
Marco Reus
Kun Aguero
Thomas Muller
Karim Benzema
Stephen El Shaaraway
Ezequiel Lavezzi
Edin Dzeko

Whould you be unhappy with any one of these?

3.) 18 Jul 2013
We might get Lavezzi or Dzeko (neither of which I'd be that excited about) but not the rest. We'd either have to pay way over the odds or they wouldn't want to come to us.

4.) 18 Jul 2013
I'd have Dzeko, Wenger is a fan. He's a great finisher, we create enough chances

Wenger was too cheap to cough up for Dzeko long before he went to Man City (when he could have got him for arround 10-13 million), he'd be a lot more than that now, and Wenger again wouldn't cough up

I have said all along that I think Dzeko will end up in an Arsenal jersey. Wenger wanted to sign him, but City out bid us. He would be deadly up front!
