Can BR please make up his mind on how much is Suarez actually worth. 40 million. No Cavani went for 55, so 55. Oh wait! RM are actually crazy enough to pay a 100 million for Bale, so now it's a 100 million.

Hold on Liverpool is worth 400 million, so Suarez is worth that much now.

He sounds like a bloody clown!

He is a clown. He'll be found out again this season, can't see LFC getting higher than 6th, Everton & Swansea could finish above them plus the usual 5.

Whats happened to are fans?All seem to be obsessed with trophy this trophy that. You can buy as many players as you want but as Wenger says only one team can win a trophy. What happened to its the taking part that counts?Granted our players are payed astronomical wages but so are the players at say a club like Everton or say Newcastle, are they anymore likely to win a trophy than us?Do they expect to win everything every year?No, they aim to compete. Wenger has given us the ability to compete with the sugar daddy clubs through multiple changes in the boardroom, ownership and a global financial meltdown whilst still staying true to our clubs reputation and morals. For the first time we can compete with man u, city and chelsea for wages and fees without the fear of administration or the end of one of Englands greatest teams. we are now in a position to compete at the highest level. True fans understand this and support there team regardless of trophies. Granted we do pay the highest prices as fans of arsenal but if that's what it takes to be able to compete for trophies and still be here in 50 years then its a price well worth every pence. KEVP

BR can say whatever he wants, its his player/prerogative, he can say suarez is worth 1 billion if he wants.

Trouble is no one is going to pay it.

RM might be able to scrap 30mil or so together after buying bale, so he may decide to take that or keep an unhappy player for a season. As I said it's his choice.

But I think if wenger offered 50milish right now, he may get him.

We'll have to wait and see.

(I know wenger is looking at a talented 21 year old roma player, as plan B, or even both if poss).
