{Ed022's Note - Just like we were clear favourites for Higuain? Fellaini? Oh right, then it must be happening...}

Well bet offices mostly get it right
Anyway i'm not saying it will happen but just thought I post it
Rumours are rumours this on the other hand is not a rumour
Its just info on what the bet offices think

{Ed022's Note - I jest AkyK but betting odds go up and down like yoyos and I wouldn't put much hope/emphasis on it...}

Agree with ed. we've been favs for other players before and never signed them.

we're clear favourites because no one else in for suarez.

if that doesn't change, i would say we have a good chance.

on the other hand, if rm or chelsea, etc come on scene, our chances go way down.

bookies odds don't mean much and can change at the drop of a hat.

{Ed022's Note - Bookies are there to make money end of. If the odds look good then people will bet. Odds go up and down and I could literally rattle off a dream team of players we have been favourite for but never actually signed. Hazard, Mata, Higuain are to name a few recently...}

If those quoted odds pairings are contemparaneous then Real have hardened a lot more than we have in the same period. The fact that we are shorter odds will just be a reflection of the money going on Arsenal, probably driven by hope and parochial sentiment. The trend shows that the bookies think Real is the more likely destination unfotunately

{Ed022's Note - CECEGUaW You have earnt 10 points to Gryffindor for the correct use of contemparaneous in a post. Well done!}

Suarez has yet to put in a transfer request, Liverpool have not done anything wrong, The clause is ambiguous.
If the Arsenal want him they will have to up there offer. Do you really believe that if Liverpool accepted that Arsenal offer, other clubs wouldn't come in and take him at that price.
I have always had a lot of respect for your club, but the 2 bids you have made, have lacked class.
IMO that extra £1 spoilt any amicable way of pushing a deal through. The club will now be determined to make you pay more.
Liverpool will sell the player, and if Arsenal don't up there offer they will not get him in this window. I still think he will go abroad. Good luck for the coming season, anyway.
