A lot of fans are worried that, if we do sign Suarez he'd just leave after 2-3 seasons.

I, on the other hand am not one bit bothered.

He'd provide that 'Robinho effect' when Man City paid £32m. The footballing world stood up and took notice. Every top player said to themselves "Wow, they mean business!" The signing of Suarez would do the very same thing for us. Those "top, top quality" players would see living breathing proof that we are ready to join the big boys.

Don't get me wrong, we need more than just Suarez if we are ready to challenge but he could be the catalyst to the rest of our summer dealings. Perhaps we are targeting players that just don't believe we are serious yet (Rooney). I just think that, even if we signed Suarez and ONLY Suarez (wouldn't be happy), his inclusion would certainly guarantee 4th, get us further in the UCL, put rubbish like Blackburn to the sword in the FA Cup etc.

If we get him for 2-3 seasons and he leaves for £25-30 mil then that isn't terrible business.

Boca vs Arsenal if my favourite player Riqulme is playing then it's got to be Boca controversial by ha.

My thoughts exactly Sloth. What if he wins us a league, FA cup and a Carling cup in those 2 years? Would be good business there. RVP was with us for 8 seasons I believe and he won us shiite!
