Anyone who doesn't think Wenger has a say in the financial running of arsenal just read the DM article today and the way he subs Chamberlain to work around his contract.

Its unbelievable.

{Ed022's Note - Although the DM isn't very good usually, I have read the article and it doesn't make good reading if im honest...}

It's tough to take in if it is true BUT I would be incredibly surprised if it is reliable, the DM have always had it out for Arsenal and Wenger.
Something does seem to be wrong with the club.

{Ed022's Note - Its a speculated article with no real evidence but the worrying thing is, it wouldn't surprise me to be true. Thats the scary part!}

Ed whilst I agree I would usually be referring to the fascist rag as the daily fail, however they're not speculating on transfer targets, what they say is potentially libelous if incorrect. There are a lot of unhappy people behind the scenes and it wouldn't suprise me to hear a disgruntled staff member has spilled his guts to the press. Its so bold in what it says that if it were not true you would surely expect arsenal toissue a press release countering it

{Ed022's Note - AG thats what I was saying, it wouldn't surprise me for it to be true...}

Sadly I wouldn't be surprised if this was true at all.

Wenger has been allowed to have far too much influence and power at arsenal.

It shouldn't be his concern at all, SAF, Mourniho, etc would be just focusing on what is best for the team and getting the right result .

Not worrying about saving £10,000 FFS.

This is just another demonstration of why we have stopped being competitive- a football manger needs to be mindful of finances ofc, but not to the controlling extent of wenger.

Time for change at our club on a systematic level.
