SKY reporting Tottenham have agreed to and subject to a medical tomorrow signing for £30 million.

AND we are linked with a Williams who in my opinion is overrated. This post will get mixed responses but who honestly would choose Williams; if he wasn't English, he would be looked upon!

Tottenham to eclipse Man City in terms of transfer money. As much as I hate to say, and let's be honest, we have NOW given Tottenham the expectancy to finish in the top four and they have gratefully received it.

Say what you want but please be realistic. And you have Wenger spouting his usual yesterday; we have to concentrate on the players we have.

Every single night I look at our rumours and transfer news. The expectancy builds for the start of EPL and it's rubbish. Thank you Wenger and board for spoiling the anticipation for me.

First of all, Williams isn't English. but I guess your point still stands, maybe he gets more publicity (For want of a better word) due to the fact he is British.
Maybe its because he captained Swansea to their first trophy.
He is good, would he be in City team? No. Tottenham team? No. United team? No. Chelsea team? No. Liverpool team? No.
He isn't fantastic, the fans want him because he seems realistic, also because he is in fact an improvement.
That said, I, and I expect most, would much prefer Sakho, with Williams as second choice.
Tottenham look set to finish top four, if we out do them again, maybe they should just disband.
