Am I the only one that hates those people who apparently don't understand player development and say things along the lines of.

"Well, Ramsey has shown that all those people that didn't like him know nothing"

or

"Wenger has proven again that all those boo boys were wrong again"

No.
Ramsey putting in three class performances does not prove all those fans who questioned his inclusion wrong.
He has made 106 premier league appearances. Scoring 7 goals. He has made maybe 5 appearances where I thought, yeah, that performance was worthy of The Arsenal.
He was poor for a good 3-4 years. Oh he got injured? Well sorry for your troubles, but if you aren't good enough, you shouldn't be playing. Don't kid yourself, Ramsey was not good enough. So all those people that said that, were correct, we have not been proved wrong, because the argument wasn't that Ramsey would never be good enough, it was that he wasn't good enough.
Now however, he has looked brilliant this season, he has got over his injuries and looks to be an integral part of our team. Its about time after 5 years of poor performances. Good luck to him, hope he takes us to some glory.

Dear Hassan,
Ramsey is 22 now, and you want a wonderful 3-4 years from a guy who is just 21 a year before, and a guy whose legs were broken. that's an awesome wish. I would have liked if you have wished the same for Van Persie, but I'm sure you didn't. :)

Thanks for that. You're still wrong though!

He's 22 and when he was played on the wing had some bad games, but you'd expect that when a player is played out of position, no? When ever he's played in the middle he's been pretty solid and only now are the "FIFA fans" at the emirates seeing that. Next you'll say Jacks game to goal ratio means he's not good enough either.

Seriously sick of these type of "supporters"

First off, kind of unfair to say he had 5 years of poor performances seeing as he's only 22. Also, do you really think that if he hadn't been given playing time and time to get his legs under him again that he would be at the level he is now? I also thought he was pretty bad for parts of the last two seasons, but regardless of what people think of Wenger's transfer activity, there's no doubt that the faith he puts in his players is a huge part of what makes our club successful.

Last year I thought he was shockin start of the season, decision makin wise and killin' off too many counter attacks by lovin the ball too much. towards the end he got a bit more consistent, and this year he's started not too shabby. let's leave it that. HIiiiiiiiiiiiiiooooOOOOOOOOOOO

Ha ha ha! Seriously, do you have any idea what it means to develop a young player? It takes a bit of time. Maybe a bit extra if they have had a double leg break. So, to say Wenger was wrong for playing him earlier in his career is nonsense - if it wasn't for that he wouldn't be playing so well now. Think of it as an investment.

{Ed022's Note - The assumption you made Jensen was that fickle fans have the ability to THINK...}

Not fickle to say that previously Ramsey was not good enough.
He was young and needed game time after a serious injury? Seems like that's the perfect time to loan out a player.
Sorry, but I'm not wrong by saying a player who was not good enough should have been playing.
You say, well he was 19 so you can't expect him to be brilliant. You're right, I didn't expect him to be brilliant. Why is why he should not have made 100 appearances when he was not good enough.
Player development takes time? No really? Obviously.
But that time, should not have been all in Arsenal career appearances (Yes I know he was loaned at the beginning of his career)
Yes it was an investment, yes he has come through brilliantly, but when other young players come through brilliantly, they didn't go through 100 appearances of hindering their team (He's not the only one)
Look at Jack, he was decent, went to Bolton, got experience at that level and came back great.
Same goes for Lukaku.
My complaint isn't to Ramsey and I support all Arsenal players, but his current performances don't warrant his place in our team for when he was not good enough. For that, my complaint is to Wenger. Ramsey could have reached this level without 100 mediocre performances for our club.
