It's super early to say but Lamela to me doesn't seem to fit in the EPL and certainly won't succeed as well as he would in another league. Especially with spurs now, they seem lethal but they have too many players capable of doing something special individually, but as a team, they won't work together. I think Chelski pretty much have a similar problem as well as Real Madrid at the moment.

With us, we do need at least someone who has the balls to go and do something to flip a match around - something that none of our other players will do. Di Maria to me seems to me to be the perfect person for this if he hit the gym, and lamela would have been good with us and only us I'd say. It's just that realistically no Madrid player will join us.

We need a solid CDM and there a a good handful about. But just someone who can run in and do something spectacular like rosicky (except he's injury prone and ageing fast) would do too although it's not a priority.

Is it just me who thinks this about Lamela? Even Jovetic I had the same thought about!

Very good post. Logical thinking for a change. Makes a change.

You seem a little confused. If Lamela won't succeed in the prem why would he succeed if he was with us? We are in the prem. As for Chelski, if we finish above them we WILL win the league!
We do need something extra but World class extras are hard to come by.
