With all the rumours floating around, I asked a friend, about Mesut Ozil.
This isn't a "ITK" friend or a "source" or a man who works as Wengers personal shoe shiner, just a guy who occasionally hears some stuff, it's a little friend of a friend, but usually near the mark.

Basically, tomorrow, at some point during the day, Mesut Ozil will be announced as either an Arsenal or Utd player.

The player doesn't want to leave Madrid, but with bale confirmed, and Isco in stellar form already, his preferred position of AMC (sorry for using FM positions!) is gone to the young Spaniard, and his back up of LW will go to Bale.

Ozil will be told by the Spanish club, very frankly he's considered surplus, and if he stays, his playing time will be very limited.
There's a small chance he'll understand and take that risk, but it's understood he will move.
England is his preferred destination, and the player has already told the club to forget PSG after the French team made an enquiry.

It's thought that the Arsenal hierarchy are confident of this deal (I know, heard it before) for around £40m.

With a World Cup next year and Draxler, Reus, Gotze, Muller, Kroos, Podolski and Schurrle all competing with him for places in the midfield for Germany, he knows he can't afford to be a bench warmer.

Arsenals advantage over Utd is that they can guarantee Ozil playing time, he has two German seniors at the club to help him settle, Wenger was highly interested in him whilst he was at Bremen, and Wenger is essentially prepared to throw down £150k + a week for the player.

Wenger is also hoping to get Di Maria, but there's a small whisper that he's not keen on the idea of English football.

Benzema is a no go.
Madrid are trying to get the fans exited by Spanish talent at the club, Re-Signing Carjaval, buying Isco and Ilarramendo, and promoting Morata and Jese to the first team, but they know they need an experienced striker to lead the line for the time being.

There's also talk We were interested in Kaka, but his wages of £200k + a week, combined with his age put us off.

Aside from an Indiana Jones raid on Madrid, we're looking at Draxler, Williams, Alderwiereld, Viviano and a host of others.
If all goes to plan, tomorrow will be a hectic day for us.

(Don't take anything I post as 100% gospel guarantee, etc, etc. things change, info is wrong, people make mistakes, I genuinely feel bad when I post something that's wrong, or off, as if I post anything I hear, it's because I find it believable, so it proving false let's me down too!)

Aside from transfers, today was a Beaut wasn't it?!

Ramsey looks top notch (sorry for doubting you Rambo!)
Sagna came on, with an illness and made some vital clearances, Kos and Merts looked great, Giroud is the boy, and well, Flamini was superb!

Hope alls well fellow Gunners!

Peace
