Any talk of announcing a new captain?
Personally I think we need a change but I'm half struggling with who.
Kos/rambo any1?
I like the bully type, very vocal but we lack that slightly so any news any views welcome.

Ps couple more signings and the world is ours. Come on ARSENAL come on ARSENAL!

Iv got 2 preferences. Ramsey or Wilshere.
Ramsey as he has established himself from 99% of people wanting him out the club 18months ago to a player who when fit is a definite starter. Hopefully now we have a sound financial footing now gone are the days of selling our best players. I could see him being at the club for 10+ years.
Wilshere has had some bad press recently but we all know the potential the lad has. Tough couple of years with injury which hopefully are behind him and the club now. Would the captaincy help keep him focused? Quite possibly. Him and Rambo could be a key feature in the midfield for a long time.

Not Ramsey, not Ramsey for a long time.

I have nothing but respect for Ramsey.
I was one of his critics myself, wanting him to be loaned out for a season, to get confidence back.
And he showed me and a LOT of people up by being probably our best player last season, even with the injuries and one of the best In the league overall.
But one of the things that contributed to Rambos poor showing the seasons before, was being Wales captain at such a young age.
The pressure, I can only imagine, must be immense, know there's 10 other men counting on you to lead them.

He doesn't need that.
He needs freedom to play his natural game.

Maybe later on, he'll be more experienced and hardened to the idiocy
Of the press and he can captain us, but not right now.

Personally, it's the BFG all day long.
The players respect him, Arsene respects him (there's an interview where he explains how he's he's Arsene's personal debt collecter at the club, anyone has fines to pay, Per goes a knocking, he put it down to the fact he's typically German in his efficiency)
He's a fan favourite and he puts his soul out on the pitch.
He's 29, 30 this season, but it's not like people can say he's lost a yard of pace, he never had it!
Pers reliance on his judgement, positioning and tactical nous, means for me he could stay at this level till around 32-3, giving us 3 years of captain per, in which time someone younger, like Jack or Rambo can develop into a leader.

If not per, then Poldi, purely for the fun.

I would prefer to see per as captain. Remember the ozil thing after we got smashed by city? that's a captain in my world and a true leader. In the future it would be nice to see wilshere or ramsey as captain, but I don't think they are ready at the moment.

Per for me born leader very vocal and cool head in situations!

Per all day long - so many examples of leadership last season

Love the semi final and what it meant to him

He knows what it takes to win and has huge amounts of experience plus a WC winner
