Can anybody explain why silent Stan was over at the Leicester game yesterday. Surely the timing relates to transfer day, so he can be directly involved in our transfer dealings today? (or perhaps its more likely to ensure we don't sign anyone today?)

In all seriousness what can that man do to help with transfers. Chocolate tea pot comes to mind. As for Wenger, an absolute embarrassment that he's not at the club today. I know there's still time in the day that minor miracles could happen but I doubt it.
Anyone who was at the Villa home game last season will remember how poisonous the atmosphere turned towards Wenger. Fortunately he had time to pull a rabbit out the hat before deadline day. Can only imagine that a negative result against City will result in a equally if not worse response from the fans. Not just to the manager but Gazidis, and Kroenke. They are all to blame.
