What are people thoughts on the current rumours going around about Chuba Akpom being chased by a number of high profile teams as contract is almost up?

Do we think he will stay and be given more opportunities or will we lose what looks to be a very promising youngster?

1.) 27 Jan 2015
IMO the absence of Podolski, Sanogo and Campbell could mean that Wenger is planning on slowly integrating Akpom in the first team.

2.) 27 Jan 2015
Akpom will stay u believe. he's put himself in a good place right now we are desperate to keep him

3.) 27 Jan 2015
Don't know if he will stay, but I will be gutted if he leaves!

4.) 27 Jan 2015
Chuba- Please don't go! Please don't go! Away.
I'm begging you to stay.

5.) 27 Jan 2015
Its about time we had a decent striker come from our academy, can't remember the last one. If he leaves and he is failure, fine, but if he's allowed to escape and he's a success, then serious questions need answering.

6.) 27 Jan 2015
It can't be helped, in any PL game would you play him ahead of Giroud, Wellbeck, Podol? Maybe he could have been ahead of Yaya, yes but only time will tell. we are all crying out loud for a top striker, and we also cry out when we don't promote someone, Jesus Arsenal fans.

7.) 27 Jan 2015
I guess it wil come down to what he thinks is best for him and his future career.
Players who can move for free are in a fantastic position and we've benefitted from this system quite a bit in the past Sol Campbell stands out most so if we lose out on this one we can't really complain too much

{Ed025's Note - cant really complain G62?....arsnal fans!!!!....your having a giraffe mate.. :)

Fair comment Ed :-) you've got to at least try and accept what works for you sometimes alsoworks against you too.
But I do know some people find that difficult to do, one rule for us and one rule for us :-)

10.) 27 Jan 2015
He's a gooner now!

11.) 27 Jan 2015
That's a bit harsh Dags! Surely that's a straight Red Ed025? And an automatic 1 day suspension. You know me I'm not one to interfere but he has to walk for that :-)

{Ed025's Note - its deffo a yellow G62..

I still think you will come good Ed.

You have same team as last season.

The only problem, is it the team or is it down to RM?

{Ed025's Note - its the fraud known as our manager...hes not he right one..hes the sh**e one...thats martinez.. :)

Ed,

From what I have noticed with Everton, compared to last season, they keep trying to over pass the ball.

Their build up play is slow, compared to previous years, when Everton use to counter a lot quicker and be more penetrative.

{Ed025's Note - we are boring and lacking ideas dags..pass pass pass...it gets on our tits mate...tika taka is old hat now teams have worked it out, the high tempo fast flowing football like bayern play is the way forward, im afraid martinez is stuck in the past..

Totally agree Ed,

Even Barca, the pass masters, don't play that way anymore.

{Ed001's Note - that's the thing, Barca never did play like that. They passed quickly in the opposition half to drag the opponents around. Martinez has his team pass it around at the back in their own half, where the opposition can just drop back and watch. The whole point of the quick passing is to force the opponent to run around chasing the ball and tire them out. They only do that if the passing is in their half where it can hurt them.}

Totally spot on 001.

{Ed001's Note - cheers.}
