Gallant effort yesterday, but truth be told, it was always going to be an uphill struggle. We lost it in the first leg an recovery was always going to be difficult. Only way we could have scored that third goal was:

A. Shooting from distance
B. Having a magician of a striker

We didn't get the third goal because Arsene is not tactically astute enough. It was obvious that Monaco were set-up to shut us out and posed a negligible attacking threat. When that was apparent after 15 minutes and especially one Giroud had scored, Wenger should have swapped Coquelin for Ramsey straight away. Mourinho would have made that change at least during half time. Coq had no real use and he was never going to scre or provide and assist. Ramsey scored and should have had 45 mins at least to get/provide another goal.

That is so spooky because I watched Mourinho do exactly that against PSG after Ibrahimovic got sent off and Chelsea went on to destroy them. Tactical genius that guy.

If Chelsea played Monaco I'd fancy them to get through. Next round I see Monaco going out with ease mate
