Great game to watch frustrations aside, iwobi had another very good game but our defending is school boy at times. Bilic is building a very good team but he got his team shape all wrong to start the game, which we exploited. But you can't defend like that and say we are capable of winning the league. We are so easily found out time after time.

We can't defend like we defend and be champions and niether can you waste so many chances like we do and be champions.
3 players who are better than we already have would make a huge difference and they don't necessarily the best in the business to make us much improved.

Didn't get to see the game today only listened to it but wow it sounded like the game of the season :) the defence was sounded out to be atrocious.

Why can't bouldy stamp the GG way on them?

Andy Carroll scored a hatrick against us. that in itself says it all about how our defence was today.

Je I think the George Graham thing is valid because we've never fished top two without having atleast 2 George players in the squad and I do think more and more looking back that although Arsene promotes attractive positive football he might never have enjoyed the successe of his fist 8 seasons without the team he inherited mentality and discipline.

You nailed it G62, it was GG's imprint that had that defence solid.

Something seriously needs looking at, I think the defenders we have are good enough it just seems they lack a structure.

Zonal marking is the problem, go back to man marking and we would improve.

a few years ago we done the stadium tour with Charlie George. He was asked would Graham's team loose a 2-0 lead. Didn't think and said NO! It's a failure of management not to have the tools of the trade i. e. the right players to do the right job.

I agree zonal marking is a massive problem, a big no, no for me.

Sag. You're absolutely right mate, they wouldn't dare chuck away a two goal lead. Like I said I reckon we have the defenders to do it but they need some coaching and gelling together, we need to have a back four that picks itself so they can basically be telepathic with each other.

Sagalout, its fans like you that wind me up. Failure of management? No it was the players that messed that up. I'm all up for a Change in management but not everything is his Fault.
