I have a feeling that we are going to buy Aubameyang in this window. Look at the current situation on the market and Borussia. Only striker available left is him and Lakazette. Wenger won't pay the amount for overpriced striker in the French league that may or may not make it in EPL. Auba is far beeter option for little more money. Dortmund has bought a bunch of players and they are crowded in front. They have to accommodate Shurle, Goetze, Reus, Kagawa, Dembele, Ramos in front and no one would be satisfied to warm the bench. The thing that may confirm my hunch is Mario Gomez rumors that he is of to Dortmund (replacement for Auba) . Anyway if it happens you heard it here first :) . May be the Wenger madness transfer that he is trying to pool of.

I am secretly hoping for this as well. I have loved this player since he was in the French league.

Problem is wenger has rose tinted glasses for Walcott. I think he actually thinks of him as a son and that's why he is so biased. Sadly I think he won't sign such a "similar" player (where in fact I think they are massively different) .

I see wengwr signing a CAM because he loves them or a true CF to challenge giroud.

Aubameyang is vastly different from Walcot. He can be a threat in the air because he is much taller, he is stronger in duels, has longer legs, better shot from distance, and much much more quality. Better finisher imo. He resembles Henry in some ways but alas, there aren't strikers like that anymore nova days.
