As we all expected the ox had rejected a new deal. Now instead of trying to fit him into the team I hope they just sell him. And ideally replace him. I'd rather spend the year having someone get used to arsenal and the league than waste a year with someone who doesn't want to stay.

Can't for the life of me see how he's worth £180k a week! Agree that if he doesn't want to sign then we should sell to whoever offers the most. He won't be terribly missed in my opinion.

Exactly. He has so much potential but he doesn't want to stay despite a huge offer. Sell and move on.

hes had "potential" the whole time he's been here, 6 years on, he's been injured for most of it only turned up in about 5 games, maybe 6. if the 180k thing is true i would personally of been horrified if he had signed! i wish him the best whether he signs or not, but you can't give a player whos barely done anything to deserve it that kind of raise just to keep him. if he doesn't kick on how the hell do you offload him! same problem we have been having for ages: pay average players more than anyone else will, so we are stuck with them and quality players less than anyone else will so they are eager to go.
