Just drifting a little and not trying to justify the ox sale. I know there is a premium for young English players, not sure why but for what he has done so far, I think we got good money for the ox. I just hope we are saying the same in three years time.

We got an exceptionally good price for Ox. I just don't know why we left it so late in the window to begin moving players on who clearly don't want to be here.

I think so too steve. had he been mid contract and not in his final 11 mths, i'd still consider it good money.
But you know Klopp is going to improve him in ways Wenger didn't and never would have.

His career Arsenal stats don't make great reading:

132 games, 9 goals or 0.07 per game, 14 career assists, 20% cross completion, 84% pass completion, shooting accuracy 25%.

It's just a pity we are not buying an upgrade.
