Hi, is wenger hoping that by holding onto sanchez that when he leaves next year it will be abroad as opposed to city or another premier league team?

no he hopes he can convince him to stay or at least sign a 1 year extension to hold his value to the club, they will prob offer him about 350k per week to sign an extention for 1 year then sell him next year for 40/ 50/ 60 million depending on how he plays this year.

Sounds just like Arsenal. Make our highest paid player the guy who, by his behavior and attitude, has made it plain he wants no part of being part of the club anymore. All in the interest of getting a monetary return by selling him.
