Yet struggled to have any real impact at Arsenal.
Ozil or Arsenal where is the real problem?
Mesut arrived as a Superstar of world football and will leave as? Well I guess in the Charlie Nicholas bracket of what could have been.

Bit unfair on Charlie there, his problem wasn't anything to do with his efforts or qualities, the ball was pumped right over his head the whole time, Ozil can't complain, he's been in a footballing team the whole time.

Fair comment JP but still they are two players who arrived Superstars but simply faded away at Arsenal.
I think the last 4 years has dulled our memory a bit of just what a coup signing Mesut Ozil was and just how brilliant he was when he arrived.
We have wasted him and the opportunity he presented for us to get back in amongst the best.
