I'm bored of hearing what a difficult window the January one is. Will the summer one be any better in a World Cup year when all the best players will be away for most of the summer and their agents will advise them to hold fire until after the tournament, as a strong showing will increase their desirability and wages.
Last night on The Debate, the guy in the suit Christian, made a sensible comment, that the two Manchester clubs are spending £100m net, whilst Chelsea and Liverpool are spending less net and Arsenal the toot are breaking even. Interesteingly the net spend is showing in the league positions. Last window we showed a profit and this window we have sold Coq and Walcott for £32m and signed the Greek youngster for £2m. Sanchez was swopped for Mkhitaryan and if we sign Aubameyang for £55m and sell Giroud for £25m, we will have a net outlay of zero. Perhaps this is the model for us, particularly when we are not in the CL and have less income.

If so, what a joke club we our. We make more then enough to spend 100 million on transfers per season. Greedy board.

Spanner, I wouldn't blame the board entirely, as Wenger likes the club to be run as a profit making business. We should make a net spend of say £50m, in order to improve.
