Great performance tonight in the face of the oyster sounds onslaught. We had to dig deep and we did, as arsene would say " our spireet was great" even thought the result for a while looked gone we battled hard. Our defending was stuff of legends and how did iwobi manage to keep going down all them blind alleys and still have enough left to go down some more. We needed the stability of xhaka in the second half, a colusus. What a headache wenger has now for picking the team on sunday, i'm pleased i'm not in his shoes. It will be exciting to see who played today and forced the managers hand for the cup final. Will they recover after the exertions tonight. After that we shouldn't be worried who we draw in the next round. COYG.

That performance was so bad I was actually laughing. The highlight was the refs cartwheel and seeing the utterly useless Iwobi stranded with his leg in the air.

I read this from an Arsene in fan
Arsenal 4 Ostersund 2, move along nothing to see here.
Basically guess he's right after 180 minutes.
Just shows how wide the split is between Arsenal fans over Arsene, 50% are 100% Arsene in and nothing is going to change that while the other 50% are 100% Arsene out and nothing is going to turn them around again now.
A club in limbo and split right down the middle.

At least we didn't tip our hand to Guardiola.

I don't give us a chance v Chelsea in last seasons FA cup final but we finished worthy winners.
I see Sunday and City v Arsenal in the same light as Arsenal v Ostersund.
Can we find the character they showed tonight on Sunday? We did against City and Chelsea last season in the SF and final of the FA cup but coming so close to City losing to Wigan will city treat us as lightly as we did Ostersund?
Time will tell.

Every now and then we do put in a shock performance that makes us all think " if you can do that occasionally why can't you show that effort and commitment all the time " Eden mate.
Our players seem to be able to get themselves up for the one off big cup games but Arsene just doesn't seem to be able to get them to perform on a week to week or month to month basis.
If they should manage to make a real game of it Sunday then it will raise more questions than answers especially about Arsenes ability to motivate this squad.
