Ornstein saying no concrete candidate and that arteta is still on the cards this seems crazy or am I missing something?

They are supposed to be taking their time assessing the pros and cons of all their candidates, to get it right. If that is true, Arteta is not an option. I really can't see that happening, unless he comes as a no2.

Completely agree, we need someone who can get a team working, not know how to play football, he didn't do it on the pitch why would he do it off. Imo we have good players but lack the tactical knowhow and teamwork it takes to be consistent, allegri would definitely bring this and sort out the likes of ozil and xhaka the way he did pogba. The new manager is one position in which we can't gamble or go cheap. Bring in allegri with Vieira or arteta as no2.

ornstein is very reliable when it comes to arsenal news. i have lost count of the number of times ornstein reports something and it turns out to be true. If ornstein says there are no concrete candidates out there, i believe that to be true.

I am surprised allegri is not a strong candidate though. As much as i don't vouch for his style, there is no doubt he is a serial winner. He will quickly move us up the table. I prefer some one or two other candidates to him, due to their style of play, but i would be happy with allegri.
