Emery is a very good coach. may take a while to work but when it does oh boy. I still don't get the fascination with Allegri he would have been too defensive and fans would end up complaining like those of manchester united right now.

What you said Joseph is very true. It might take a while to work, so we have to be patient Personally speaking if it was a straight choice between him or Arteta I think the right choice was made.

As much as allegri is a defensive coach, he is a world class coach. One of the few coaches you can depend to get a result with his back against the wall. He is calm under pressure. Unai emery is a decent coach but not a world class coach. He lacks charisma and panics when things go wrong.

In his last season in sevilla, his team never won an away game. He bottled the league in his first season at PSG despite having a far better squad. His team capitulated against Barcelona and real. He is not a big game manager, an under achiever something Arsenal don't need.

He had improved every club he has managed, with the exception of spartak Moscow. He started at the bottom and has worked his way up.
