Im a massive fan of VAR but that scrummage on mitrovic was an embarrassment not only to VAR but the referee and linesman.

I'm a fan too Steve but don't understand why they seem to be so inconsistent with it, England conceed a penalty that was by the rule book a foul yet done receive 2 more were every bit as legitimate if not more so.
I've always had a lot of time and sympathy for refs because it's one man with one pair of eyes one chance to make a split second decision but VAR have a has so many angles and people and 30 seconds to get it right consistently.
VAR has to be consistent or it's not worth having.

I still can't believe the PL voted against continuing with VAR. It's clearly not perfect, but is the way to go.

Hmm I’m not so sure yet! People still seem to be moaning just as much as before VAR.

Maybe each team should have two shouts for VAR to be used during the game.
