Keane told wright and Neville not to be getting g carried away last week
You have to take one game at a time and win your next game. The 2 boys thought they had nothing to do only walk in the final and bring it home.
Keane the only pundit to say how it is no bull no getting carried away.
Don't get to excited until your in the final
Billic was straight up about it as well but the 2 boys were a bit too cocky.

{Ed0333's Note - I thought Ian Wright was completely out of order and bordering on racist when he mocked Keane in a faux Irish accent. Don’t get me wrong Im in no way a Roy Keane fan but imagine if Keane had mimicked Wright in an African accent or Patois? It amazes me how Wright gets punditry work. He offers zero insight or analysis. I watched him ‘work’ for Fox Sports the last few weeks and he was routinely outshone by Rob Stone, Alexi Lalas and they are an abomination to journalism. Kelly Smith was decent though and dont even get me started on the imbecile that is Warren Barton. Rant over now as you were Gooners.

Wrighty my hero, not a very good pundit but a great england and arsenal fan, should be on the terraces really.

{Ed0333's Note - should be barred from ever being a pundit again

A very average England team without a single world class player simply did what was expected and little more, with a favourable draw.
I am not a fan of Southgate, but he brought harmony and discipline to the squad. Tactically he was nothing special and we defended too deep last night. It was a mistake not to take Wilshere and not to play Welbeck, who plays well at international level. Kane was a disappointment, despite his goals and the basis of the England team being Toot players, who haven't won a thing clearly illustrates the lack of quality English players. We have signed 5 players this window, but not a single English player and I am certain the reason for extending Chambers and Holdings contracts is to bolster the squad with homegrown players.

I adore Wrighty, but he is a useless pundit, as is Merson. The ones that impress me are Gary Neville and Jermaine Jeanas.

I’ve just watched the clip and wrighty had me in stitches. Maybe rose tinted and all but Roy Keane is always so intense and wrapped up tight. Clash of opposites as wrightys a notorious wee wee taker and Keane is notoriously easy to wind up.

Keane talks like he played, extremely angry while Wrighty wears his heat on his sleave and his passion and pride shine through for all things Arsenal and England.
Wrighty never got to go to a finals despite scoring the winning goal and being man of the match in Itlay to get us through on one occasion but if I remember right didn't Roy Keane fly home in 2002 after walking out on Ireland.

Southgage has restored pride at least with fans. Yeah I think the easier draw we had maybe agaisnt limited sides masked abit the lack to top quality creativity and skill in the side. Trippier and Maquire certainly enhanced their stake. Ali was a dissapointment though and yeah I don't think southgate utilised the full squad enough like Wellbeck and used subs too late often.

Keane was negative to be fair and talking like a professional which we don’t really need to hear - “ one game at a time”. we like a bit of passion and she’s a passion-sponge

Wrighty was just a prat. I agree with his Irish mockery being wrong anfpd immature but not sure it’s being racist. However, if it had been a taunt against race in a similar way - HUGE uproar. It’s a shame we live in an unequal world but as a well off white guy, I am not in a position to moan about equality etc

Shame really as they are both two club greats and both did nothing at a country level. Leave the toys at home boys.

{Ed0333's Note - I prefer my pundits to educate and entertain me in equal measure. Keane does that for sure. Wright is a buffoon and steals a living as a pundit. What really winds me up about Wright is his bastardization of the English language and he speaks as if he’s down the boozer with his mates. That’s unacceptable for me but millions of people and television execs love him so there you go. If I was ITV I’d poach Garth Crooks now that’s what you call an articulate and entertaining football pundit, pure friggin box office.
