Another tough match today and patience is vital whilst Emery instils his methods into the team, improves the players fitness and integrates the 5 new players into the squad.
I believe we will start to see the team settle into the new methods after the international break.
It is pleasing to see the squad changing with 5 new players brought in and players moved on that were simply not good enough: Ospina, Chambers, Campbell, Bielik, Akpom and Perez.
I believe Jenkinson will be moved on during the next window when he is fit and reports that Emery will let Welbeck move if someone comes in for him before the window shuts in countries where it is still open.
I believe we have a problem of too many 'luxury' players, which don't fit into Emery's high energy pressing game: Ozil, Mkhitaryan and Iwobi come to mind. I believe once the squad is match fit we will only see one luxury player, who will also have to work hard. I can't see all three players being at the club at the start of next season. I wouldn't be surprised if only one of the three start today. Possible team for today:
Cech
Bellerin Mustafi Sokratis Lichtsteiner
Guendouzi Torreira Xhaka
Ramsey Aubameyang Mkhitaryan

I don't believe Emery will start Monreal, he may possibly be on the bench. He may well start Xhaka despite fans reservations and I doubt he will start wil Aubameyang and Lacazette. He may well start with Ozil instead of Mkhitaryan.

Didn’t they just give Iwobi and Chambers new contracts?

If we have the “wrong” players for his strategy - why didn’t he do something about it

If we have the wrong players - adjust your strategy as he’s a tactics guy after all

I will give him time but he already has a lot of questions to answer.

Ramsey was vastly ineffective in that position last week.
I'd rather he plays where you've put Xhaka, Ozil to come in for Xhaka, I think Ozil will have a good game today, so will Mkhitaryan. *fingers crossed*.
