An unsurprising result against City. The team must now get going and win the upcoming match at Huddersfield, beat Bate over 2 legs and follow up by winning the next 2 matches, both at home. The other contenders for the top four have a heavy schedule with domestic and Champions League fixtures, so although extremely difficult, don't rule out a top four finish.
We must show patience with Emery as the players he has brought in, except Lichtsteiner, have all been quality signings. Yesterday, Guendouzi, Torreira and Leno were arguably our best three players.
Hopefully the summer window will be more active, as some players deals will end and not be renewed, other will be moved on. We will then start to see a squad shaped by Emery.

Why do you write all of your posts like a news reporter and always state the obvious? Annoying.

Good to see that Mavropanos is back.

I thought we were a bit unlucky yesterday with the goal right before half time and the handball goal. We didn’t play well, but with a bit of margins we could have gotten more out of it. They didn’t create that many chances.

{Ed025's Note - i dont know what game you were watching nor, the second half was like a training session for city mate..
