News coming out of arsenal. Stan isn’t happy with emery’s performance last season and is due to give extra funds, and if we don’t get top 4 with the extra funds he won’t have an extra year offered, for me that’s great news but I’d rather him gone now.

Now that's some creative journalism. I think all Arsenal fans need to realize that unless our business model radically changes, there's no money coming in from Kroenke.

Arsenal operated under a self sustaining model before Kroenke was majority owner, and that's what he bought into.

We bring in massive revenues and have the money required to compete. Our wage bill is almost what Chelsea's is, and we have mismanaged our money.

We got ourselves into this hole and have to get some of these overpaid, bang average players off the books before you will see the type of overhaul we all desire.

Very consistent of you. Complain about lack of transfers, and leaving it too late, and being a joke if a club, then immediately state we should sack our manager weeks before our season starts! That would be brilliant preparation for everyone, and guarantee success I'm sure. It's fine being negative if that's how you feel, but if the mob start ruling this club we're doomed.

Totally agree AA mate, the previous regime got us into this situation and we have to find a way out of it as quickly and painlessly as possible.
While we are limited on budget we need a manager more than ever who can make up for quality of individuals by forming a team that is well organised and disciplined and can get the best out of less than superstar players, is Emery that sort of man? He needs to be next season because we simply don't have room for anyone who can't manage well on a smaller budget than those clubs we want to challenge.

It's irrelevant whether or not we operated a sustainable business model before Stan or not, it's his management that's poor. He's responsible for staff appointments, and therefore their performance, and he's done a god awful job of that.

Many clubs with less financial might than us are performing at a much better standard than we are currently.
