Ed001, what ever happened to ed027, he use to be on here 6 or 7 years ago.

I think he was the last Arsenal ed we had on here.

{Ed001's Note - I wish. It is far too hot to sit around outside. Though I always forget that when I have to go somewhere and think it's only 10min walk away, be a nice walk in the sunshine. By the time I get there I look like I have just climbed out of the pool after jumping in fully dressed!!}

i hate the heat too ed! i had to work at 1pm in oz and i only had a bike and it was an hour cycle away, i would get there looking like i just jumped in the sea! then on the cycle home in the dark i would get chased and have bottles thrown at me by drunken aboriginals! fun times!

{Ed001's Note - I don't mind the heat, I just don't do well in it. It is much better than cold and wet and arriving soaked!}

That's no way for either of you to treat an Ed047! I'm going to make a formal complaint, but not before I steal a golf cart and take it for a spin on a motorway!

I hate the heat too. People always go, "but you should be use to it being from Bahrain". Why would I be? Locals rarely walk about in the heat - we go from airconditioned home, to airconditioned car, to airconditioned office.

It's strange what we all think, I used to live next door to a
Polish lad and one winters night we both stood outside in the snow having a fag with the temperature about-2 and I asked him if it felt cold to him, he looked at me gone out and said of course it's cold to me, it's snowing.
I guess I thought because eastern Europe gets down to -30 that -2 would feel quite warm to him :-)
But turns out cold is cold and hot is hot no matter where your from originally, who'd have thought it :-)
