Predictions boys? You’ve won your last 8 League games (best not to mention the FA Cup) , whilst we’ve won our last 9 away games so high scoring end to end stuff or cagey 0-0?

It sounds like we almost have a full squad to choose from so I’m going for an away win, you played a day later than us and we have some fresh players to come back.

Confident?

AJH

1.) 09 Mar 2019 14:57:56
With our defence - nope. Not confident at all. Hopefully a draw. That’s the height of my ambition at the moment.

2.) 09 Mar 2019 16:25:43
Haven't a clue really because Liverpool Spurs home games fill me with optimism while our Fa cup defeat at home and the away performances against City Liverpool and others fill me with an erge to watch from behind the sofa.

If I had to guess it would be business as usual where United sit back and pick us off for fun as always at the Emirates,

3.) 09 Mar 2019 16:42:51
Away win all day long.

4.) 09 Mar 2019 19:14:25
I think tomorrow will show some fight, my lose win or draw obviously but I predict a win 2-1 or 3-2.

5.) 09 Mar 2019 20:07:24
If I had only one guess at tomorrow's score line and the prize for getting it right was £1 million then I'd go 1 3 to United but I'm rubbish at predicting correct scores always have been :-)

6.) 09 Mar 2019 21:11:32
2-1 to us as long as the ref behaves.

7.) 09 Mar 2019 21:16:02
Unlike SY4, I have total confidence in us getting a result.

3-1 to the Arsenal.

8.) 09 Mar 2019 21:19:26
Steve :-)
Nice to see your forward excusing, I mean thinking:-)

9.) 09 Mar 2019 23:47:23
So confident Malaga that you said we were going to beat the spuds 3-1 too.

Another kiss of death mate. 🙄😂.

10.) 10 Mar 2019 00:12:25
You said that Thursday mark :-)
With Emery Arsenal we could win well or eek out a draw or get totally exposed it's anyone's guess, much like Arsenes Arsenal really.

11.) 10 Mar 2019 11:21:04
AJH, how have we won our last 8 league games when our last game was 1-1 with spurs 😂.

Stoner mate

Its all about opinions, I think United and Arsenal are not as far away as you think. City and Liverpool are settingthe standard that we need to reach and whilst we both need strengthening I don't think it's as bad as you do.

Culture, atmosphere, approach, mindset all play a part. We've changed Manager and the change has been staggering. You had a great start and have stalled but Emery seems to have cojones and is addressing some issues.

We've made 3 manager mistakes since SAF and I know all other fans are hoping we appoint Ole as they think he will fail but right now, one team has momentum, us.

AJH

1.) 27 Jan 2019 18:18:09
I wouldn't make the Ole decision until you absolutely have to AJH, June 2020 might be wise.
Right now the players are giving their reaction to Jose leaving as much as Ole arriving, I'd want to see what Ole can do after the " look at us now Jose " factor has worn off from these players.

2.) 27 Jan 2019 18:43:38
I hope ole is given the job, i understand why he has been given the caretakers job. that's all he is and because of that what is going on at the moment has little to do with ole but the players. It obvious the players are in control, you ain't learning a thing about ole as a full time appointment. It could have been ole, beckham, scholes or neville and the reaction would have been similar. I do think reality will set in this season at some point. But truthfully whatever anyone thinks, he can't do any worse than moyse, lvg or maureen. I would be happy to see ole as the full time manager.

3.) 27 Jan 2019 18:56:05
AJH, you won't find anything out about ole until it starts going pete tong, when he is full time and the pressure is on. He is just freewheeling at the moment. He may end up being the next SAF but what's happening at this moment has more to do with maureen going than ole coming in. He isn't managing utd yet or this season, he is just picking the team. As far as how far you or us are behind citeh, they have the best manager in the world, you and us dont. that's a big hurdle that neither can jump while he is there.

4.) 27 Jan 2019 19:00:59
Plus in an earlier post, you said you wouldn't swap a list of players. Well i'm quite sure citeh aren't cueing up to swap any of yours or Liverpool come to that, Ddg maybe, that's all. They have reliable professionals doing a far better job than your lot or ours.

5.) 27 Jan 2019 20:00:29
Steve, I’m looking forward to some trauma, I want to see how Ole copes. I don’t think anyone else could have won 8 in a row, it’s a bit simplIstic to say that, what I have seen so far is a maturity and intelligence that Giggs et al haven’t got.

Most United fans right now are rubbing their eyesin disbelief, we have 2 winnable league games before some big games, Liverpool in the league and PSG in the Champions League. I never saw our players into team of the week this year and suddenly we have 2 or 3 appearing. If we continue this progress than I see us as third behind the Scousers and Citeh. Some strong signings and a continuation of the right culture and mindset then who knows. We shall see.

6.) 27 Jan 2019 20:28:17
AJH, i think we both have lots of improvement left and i'm sure we both will but at the moment citeh and to a lesser extent are way ahead as far as a complete league campaign and process is concerned.

7.) 27 Jan 2019 20:26:00
AJH mate,

Whilst Mourinho was there I don’t think anyone of you rated the vast majority of your players and honestly I watch all the football games I can, doesn’t make me an expert I know.

But even on this unbeaten run you still honestly don’t look all that, surely you must see that? Much as we didn’t really look all that.

I just cannot get my head around the hype for Pogba either, he does so little more often than not and I really don’t think he has what it takes to lead you to trophies, but like you say, it’s opinions.

No more than I’m getting sucked into Emery being the right man. We are literally a carbon copy of Wengers Arsenal. I realise he is making steps to change that but how on earth can you not even get defending right, our defenders aren’t that bad.

We’ve had our annual beating from a big club, we crumple against you after battering Chelsea, we’ve had our annual 4 good games a season and our new shiney backroom staff don’t seem to be helping our cause. It’s same old same old.

I’ve no idea what OGS will be like but I would think Pochettino would be your man then I would have genuine concern if they give him the money to spend too.

8.) 27 Jan 2019 20:43:33
Lesser extent liverpool, i meant.

20 Jan 2019 13:28:56
Admittedly I only watched the highlights but you boys looked good yesterday, I’m looking forward to the cup game. It looks like we both have options going forward but are potentially dodgy at the back so we might get a high scoring game. I also think it’s between the two of us for 4th, or 3rd if Spurs implode without a striker for 6 weeks. Sarri’s comments about his team were Mourinhoesque so I see Chelsea sliding away.

It’s a shame we’re fighting over 4th and not 1st but give it time. How are you all feeling about next Friday night?

AJH

1.) 20 Jan 2019 14:07:21
Should be a gloves off no hold bars cup game. Winning an FA cup won't help either team much as far a going forward is concerned but it should be blood and thunder.

2.) 20 Jan 2019 14:33:50
Some of my favourite and worst games are cup games with Arsenal, the semi finals of ‘83 and ‘99 were great, although I can’t watch the ‘79 Final wthout feeling physically sick, even after all this time.

3.) 20 Jan 2019 15:11:21
The cup game is a fan pleaser not a season maker as LVG discovered.
Both clubs need to be challenging for titles to call a season a successful one by their standards, obviously that's the long term target with the immediate target being 4th place and champions league football.
I think if Ole gets 4th he gets a contract while for Dick 4th isn't a necessity this season where only clear and obvious progress is really expected from him.

4.) 20 Jan 2019 15:47:21
I love the fa cup and hope we win it. It is a great trophy for me and would be a success if we win this as it is a trophy.

5.) 20 Jan 2019 16:28:15
In the modern game it's no longer enough for managers of City United Liverpool to deliver and have a guaranteed job at the end of it.
The game has changed and for big clubs success is decided in the league and champions league where the domestic cups are merely stocking fillers.
If you enjoy it Stephen then that's all the matters mate, for me i enjoy all big games against other big clubs with the league and champions league games being the most interesting followed by fa cup and Europa league games then the league cup which is neither here or their really, I'm not sure to many people would miss the league cup If it stopped.

6.) 20 Jan 2019 16:53:15
I think we all enjoy the fa cup but the truth is, it is just a football jolly. The real test and money for the bigger clubs is the league, then champs league and the europa league. The prize for them and the kudos is on another level.

7.) 20 Jan 2019 17:15:35
AJH I wouldn't write Chelsea off especially if they sign Higguain, he could easily be the piece that makes everything else come together for them.

8.) 20 Jan 2019 19:10:53
Nah, the Manager is losing the squad at Chelsea, I think they’re in trouble. Maybe it’s because I’m an old bugger but I love the FA Cup. I accept that many don’t care any more but for me it remains a major trophy: we had the best record until you overtook us but I love it. The best game I ever went to was the semi in ‘83, I was 18 and it still feels like the best atmosphere ever. Looking forward to Friday.

9.) 20 Jan 2019 19:52:21
I was 21 mate :-) . THE STEVE FOSTER FINAL:-)
Beauty in in the eye of the beholder and if people still value the fa cup then of course it's still valuable but the premier leagues huge sums of money means Teams at the top rest players in order to either win the title or make top 4 while teams at the bottom play weaker teams in order to try and stay out of the bottom 3 and even championship sides field weak teams in pursuit of premier league riches.
For lots of fans and lots of players the fa is still a big thing but for clubs it's the fizzy drink rather than the starter main or desert.

It's a shame but 4th place is so much more important than winning the fa cup.
Find a way to get all clubs from all divisions to value the fa cup again and you bring back the magic.

Hey Stoner, any time you want to pop back to our pages and poke fun at us, feel free. Since you visited you’ve had a ‘mare. I thought we were poor against the Scousers but blimey, there’s poor and there’s poor.

You should feel our hot breath shortly mate, we are currently obsessing about winning the ‘Arsenal trophy’ - getting into the top four. With a following wind we’ll be past you in January and then it’s Chelsea in the way before we can have the open top bus parade to celebrate qualification for the Champions League.

AJH

1.) 30 Dec 2018 11:17:22
AJH,

The fact you have spent so much to be so poor and still you still remain a constant source of amusement, that your page is like a plasterers radio after you beat two poor teams makes it all the more amusing. False dawn after false dawn.

It was you who said how fabulous, an Italian international, Darmian was going to be, not you that said Januzaj was going to be the next Ronaldo, Martial the next Henry, Bailey was a beast, Fred would be better than Fabinho, Di Maria a marque signing and so it goes on, all the way to the mighty Pogba and the static trampoline Lukaku.

Your club has been a constant joke since Fergie left and to make it worse you have City and Liverpool making it all the more funnier.

But you knock yourself out mate, come on and take the mick out of one of your actual rivals rather than the real big boys. 😂😂😂

Under Kroenke we will never be going anywhere but that’s the life of a supporter and sorry mate I’m still not bricking myself at your clubs hot but stale breath. 🙄

How far have you really fallen that here you are. 🤦‍♂️.

2.) 30 Dec 2018 12:14:14
AJH, we may be poor but wow, your team and club are an absolute disgrace. I know its banter but your club really is under achieving more than any team in the league and your player and managerial situations this last few year has been disastrous. You aren't even the best team in manchester and your noisey mates down the road at the moment are streets ahead of you. You really at the moment should be lying low. Lol.

3.) 30 Dec 2018 12:15:11
You're right mate, our fall has been spectacular. The last few years have been awful, apart from the FA Cup, the Europa League, and the League Cup, which made us the most successful club domestically. I realise for you that would be a golden period but for us it has been a come down.

Unlike you, we haven't given up, it's been a roller coaster and it's likely to continue to be, as you say that's the life of a supporter.

Chin up mate.

4.) 30 Dec 2018 15:40:59
Mancs performance against Liverpool was a lot worse than ours, the Match stats clearly prove that, it was embarrassing.

5.) 30 Dec 2018 16:36:06
Personally thought Arsenal gave us a better game and with two quality defenders and a winger you guys will be on your way. Manchester United, well they have massively under achieved, my only worry is they have a history of spending big and if they land Pochettino could return to former glory.

6.) 30 Dec 2018 18:18:23
If Liverpool beat citeh when they play, i can see them just winning the league. If citeh beat them, i can only see citeh winning the league. Its a massive game and its all perseption but citeh have been through their bad spell of injuries and form, Liverpool haven't yet and at some point they will start finding it tough. One manager in the world you wouldn't want to go head to head with is pep.

7.) 30 Dec 2018 18:25:44
Our hot stale breath is getting hotter and staler. Just saying, keep looking over your shoulder boys.

8.) 30 Dec 2018 18:38:59
AJH, the excitement must be building so much for you all, just to let you know, us paupers got 9 points out of the cream that you just beat in the last three games. But at least OGS has got you picking points up against the lesser teams now. Lol.

9.) 30 Dec 2018 20:59:31
AJH stop embarrassing yourself mate, you are supposedly Manchester United, biggest club in the world and you're on here telling us how your mighty club are breathing down our necks in 5th place, yes fella FIFTH.

Now pop over to the Liverpool and City pages and see how much they’re collectively bricking it too. 🤦‍♂️

Was actually great to see Pogba break out into a jog a couple of times too, who knew he could almost run. 🙄.

Good to see most fans of all clubs are equally enraged.

Just heard Pep’s interview, he’s quality. We need more players and Managers to say they want no part of this circus. I’ve always know a European League would arrive 1 day but that it would have some form of qualification process. To have a closed shop is an appalling idea, an ignorant and cash generated view of the privileged rich boys.

Perez says revenues have dropped but a lot of clubs, if not most, have been badly run for years so this is a result of financial mismanagement. I’ve been going to OT since 1979, if this happens I am finding another club.

At the risk of being picky, we also had a team of youth players long before ‘92. Let me think, oh yes, the Busby Babes.

The EL is a major trophy, I really enjoyed when we won it a few years ago. As for OGS doing terribly, we’re 3 points behind you despite missing penalties for fun this year.

City and Liverpool are certs, the rest is up for grabs. Chelsea look good right now but it’s a long season. Everybody else looks fragile so, it’s who steps up and takes their chance,

Stoner, you’re welcome any time mate. Malaga did pop over but his banter was pants and he was sent packing. We could do with some quality banter, not the ramblings of a 4 year old.

We’ve won out last 9 away games, the only blots since Ole arrived have been at OT, 2 League draws and the PSG defeat. Based on form United should win but these kind of games never follow the form guide. Looking forward to a great game.
