I hope Wenger and Arsenal players listened to Troy Deeney after the match on BT SPORT. What a great piece of advice from Troy. Merts your time is up you are liability. I would play Jack as CB ahead of Merts any day. Keown's blood was boiling when he was listening to Troy lambasting the mighty Arsenal. Watched the second half with my wife and she thought Watford was Arsenal. I hope things change soon.

I am feeling sorry for Emery. He honestly wants to get better results than what's happening now but it's just not happening. I guess mutually going separate ways will be beneficial for both Emery and Arsenal. Viera is not an A-list coach but I am willing to give him a chance. Very disappointing to see the Arsenal in this state.

Emerys first 50 games 87 points, Arsenes last 50 games 88pts and he had to go because it just wasn't good enough.
I have nothing against Emery personally, he's simply out of his depth at this level but really can't see it himself.

I see the odds have been cut and he’s now joint favorite for the sack. It’s sad that we’re ‘that’ kind of club, but sadder that we appointed him in the first place. I’m sure he’s a nice fella but his time at PSG showed what he was about.

Banbury mate, Xhaka effing the booing crowd is a very sure sign of devastation. To me it doesn't come across as arrogance but a soul hurting. The fans should not at all feel disrespected. They disrespected Xhaka first by effing him with those boos. What he simply did was making them test their own medicine. If the supporters felt hurt and disrespected by Xhaka's actions so did he by their actions. He may not be the fans favourite but he deserves respect. No matter how poor a player he is, it is the fans duty to stand by the clubs players selected to do duty on the day. Xhaka may be doing everything right at training and the coach is hoping that he will replicate that form on matchdays hence his consistent selection. For me both parties were wrong and they owe each other an apology not just Xhaka apologizing. That's just me, we all have different opinions.

Yes it was a Sanchez cross for the goal. My point is he should have put more of those when he got the chances to cross. Many a times he chose to run with the ball at the top of Saints penalty box than to cross it in for Giroud. Of a possible 7 times to cross for Giroud he crosses one which results in a goal.

What a frustrating time to be a Gunner I concur with you @Heybridge. However, there are certain issues I don't agree with you. I don't think Arsene doesn't tell his players to score first and defend their goal. Lack of leadership on the pitch is the teams drawback. Arsene needs to sign two leaders to help Cech carry the team forward. Sanchez, Ozil, Ramsey etc are good players but not "Ninja's" who can turn the game in our favour when the going is tough. Buy leaders (2 or 3) , keep the current tactics and we will win the league. Secondly if I was a season's ticket holder never was I going to boycott a match to try and force the board to lower ticket price or fire the coach. I would support the team week in week out. The team is low on confidence, booing and boycotting matches will only make it worse. Too much negative energy from the fans. I will surely judge Arsene and his boys when the season ends. As for now I will keep believing in the team to deliver the league.
